The Escambia County Legislative Delegation has scheduled its annual public meeting for Thursday, November 12, 2026, at The Beach Church in Pensacola Beach. The event serves as the primary venue for local stakeholders to present legislative priorities to state lawmakers ahead of the 2027 Florida Legislative Session. The delegation comprises State Senator Don Gaetz, State Representative Alex Andrade, and State Representative Michelle Salzman.
The meeting will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The venue is located at 920 Panferio Drive on Pensacola Beach. This gathering marks the final public forum before the statehouse convenes for its new term. It allows business owners, community organizations, and local government leaders to voice concerns directly to their representatives.
To speak at the meeting, members of the public must submit a completed Speaker Request Form in advance. The deadline for these submissions is Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Applicants must send their forms to Lea Funchess via email. The delegation uses these forms to manage the flow of the evening's agenda and ensure equal time for all approved speakers.
Those seeking additional details or a blank form can contact Senator Don Gaetz’s district office. The office is reachable by phone at (850) 595-1036. An email address is also available for written inquiries. Last year, the delegation held a similar session at the Molino Community Center, indicating a shift in location for this year’s gathering.
