Best Buy has reduced the price of Acer's Predator XB27OU by $50, putting the 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor at $329.99 as of October 23, 2026.

The display carries a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a figure also written as QHD or 2K. It runs at a 240Hz refresh rate with a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. The monitor is rated for 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and a Delta E accuracy figure below 2, and it supports HDR10. For connections, the unit provides two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. The screen also supports AMD's FreeSync Premium, which matches the monitor's refresh rate to the frame rate a game produces, removing screen tearing.

The resolution suits a mid-range gaming PC, according to Tom's Hardware, since a graphics card should not have much trouble meeting its frame rate and resolution demands. The 0.03ms response time is made possible by the OLED technology, and that figure gives games smooth motion while avoiding the ghosting seen on slower monitors, Tom's Hardware says. FreeSync Premium further adjusts the refresh rate to the frame rate a game produces, which removes screen tearing. Delta E below 2 and 99% DCI-P3 coverage address color accuracy, while HDR10, a 10-bit color standard, improves contrast, color depth and brightness compared with standard dynamic range. Two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port let owners connect a gaming PC alongside two game consoles on the same screen.

The discount is aimed at shoppers weighing a move from an IPS monitor to an OLED screen who want a lower-cost way to do it. Tom's Hardware presents the price cut as an opportunity to bring current display technology into a gaming setup at a modest cost. The monitor is available at Best Buy at the reduced $329.99 price.

QD-OLED panels are known for deep blacks and strong contrast. The XB27OU's stated specifications place it within that category of display technology, and the current retail price reflects the $50 reduction applied by Best Buy.
